Eligibility
Any Nepali citizen, foreign national, or registered business/organization that needs to transact with Nepal's tax system.
Steps

1. Apply online
Submit your PAN application at taxpayerportal.ird.gov.np, via the Nagarik app, or in person at your local IRD office.

2. Complete biometric verification
Individuals complete a one-time biometric verification in person at an IRD office to finalize registration.

3. Submit business documents
Businesses submit their registration certificate and proprietor/partner PAN details for verification.

4. Receive your PAN
Once verified, IRD issues the PAN through its electronic system.
